Overview of Responsibilities
The Kirkwood Town Board is a vital part to the success of an ever-growing town. The dedication of the Town Board to the town and its residents is evident in their work. The Town Board is responsible for:
- Representing our Constituency efficiently and effectively.
- Present fair and reasonable yearly budgets.
- Be accessible and responsible to the Town and its’ residents.

Goals of the Board
The Kirkwood Town Board works to provide the best for the Town of Kirkwood. Currently they are working on:
- The Extension of the Public Water and Sewer Facilities
- Exploring additional affordable Senior Housing
- Maintaining and assuring the quality of Kirkwood’s Youth Programs
- Developing a Senior Citizen Center

Kirkwood has been home to Bob since his family moved here in 1968. He attended B.C.C. and graduated with honors from SUNY Cortland where he earned a B.S. in Education and M.S. in Health Education. Bob began his teaching and coaching career at Susquehanna Valley in 1986. He is currently an elementary Physical Education Teacher at S.V. Bob's greatest joy is his family. He and his wife Jackie certainly have their hands full raising their three young sons, Robby, Brady, and Bryant.

Katie has lived in Kirkwood for more than 20 years with her husband Scott, daughter Kali, and son Hunter. Katie is dedicated to our community and looks forward to serving you, inspiring our youth and celebrating our seniors and veterans. She is a huge supporter of the Buy Local initiative and feels it is important to grow and support our local businesses. She loves bringing the community together and feels that working together we can accomplish great things for our community.
