Scheduled Meetings: First Wednesday of each month, at Noon, at the Kirkwood Fire Station, Main Street, Kirkwood, unless otherwise noted.
Overview:
The Purpose of the Senior Citizen Group is two-fold. The Group is a way for Senior Citizens to have social interactions within the community, as well as be involved in the community and its’ events. The group has scheduled programs for many meetings, bus trips, and other activities. Any Senior Citizen is welcomed to become a member (including Senior Citizens from surrounding towns.) Dues are currently $15.00 per year and must be paid to participate in trips and special events.
Activities:
- Meetings: Held on the first Wednesday of each month at noon, at the Kirkwood Fire Station, Main Street, Kirkwood, unless otherwise noted. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish or dessert: coffee, tea, and water is provided. The meeting takes place after lunch.
- The August meeting is the Town sponsored Senior Citizens picnic at 12 noon at Kirkwood Fire Station, Main Street, Kirkwood. ALL Senior Citizens are welcome. The meal is fully catered and there is no fee.
- October, November, and December meetings are catered and there will be a fee charged ($10.00 - $15.00, depending on the meal.)

A $20 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT SIGNUP FOR ANY TRIP. TRIPS MUST BE PAID IN FULL ONE (1) MONTH PRIOR TO THE TRIP DATE. Payment will NOT be accepted the day of the trip.

Buses will leave from Schneider's Market at Five Mile Point Shopping Plaza and Lowe's on Upper Front Street. Please park away from the stores so we do not interfere with store customers. Times for pick-up and departments will be determined for each trip.

Wednesday, December 4th - Christmas - catered - Fire Station - 12 noon
NOTE: If schools have snow days, as roads are generally cleared by noon, we STILL plan meetings at 12 noon at the Fire Station. Members should use their own discretion.
