Summer Fun Arts & Crafts

The Summer Fun Arts and Crafts Program is a Kirkwood – Conklin joint program designed for children in Kindergarten – 5th Grade.  The children are able to work on a variety of projects that will be pre-determined by the instructors.  They will also have a designated time outside (weather permitting) to play games or use the playground if desired. Children are asked to bring a bagged lunch.  The program runs Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Floyd Bell Elementary School in Kirkwood.

Sign – Ups for the Summer Fun Arts and Crafts Program are usually held in the 3rd week of June in the Kirkwood Town Hall.  Check out the main page of the website for updates.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Town’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is normally held on the weekend before Easter weekend at River Park.  All youth involved in the program will hunt for candy and special eggs.  Also there maybe a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.  The Easter Egg Hunt is open to all Town of Kirkwood Residents.

Christmas Party

The Town’s Annual Christmas Party is held the Saturday before Christmas.  Children will be able to go on horse cart rides, visit with Santa’s Elves, and get their last minute Christmas wishes in with Santa before he returns to the North Pole.  Also there are special appearances by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  Children will receive gifts; snacks and beverages will be provided.
